AMF plans new hedge fund allocation

The Swedish pension company AMF looks to set up a new portfolio of alpha-generating hedge funds and also considers infrastructure funds to more rapidly build up the exposure.

As part of an attempt to diversify the portfolio, Sweden’s AMF is planning to start investing in hedge funds. Unlike many other cost-conscious Nordic investors that have opted for cheaper alternative beta strategies, the SEK 488 billion (EUR 46.4 billion)
