Storebrand acquires Skagen for EUR 170 million

Norwegian savings and pensions group Storebrand has announced today it will acquire the independent asset manager Skagen.

Storebrand will pay the selling shareholders a sum of NOK 1.6 billion (EUR 170 million) for the shares at the time of transaction in addition to a possible earn-out. With assets under management at some NOK 85 billion (EUR 9 billion) according to the Skagen
