Henderson and Janus announce merger

Henderson and Janus today announced a merger of equals to create Janus Henderson Global Investors. It is a deal that shares similarities with the 2006 merger between BlackRock and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. The new company will have some USD 320 billion in assets under management and a market capitalisation of approximately USD 6 billion.
